We couldn't get a proper shower: it was awful, and there was no hot water. When we tried to switch it off, we got little electric shocks. We even tried using a stick we found to shut the water off, but that didn't work. The room was big, though it wasn't very clean, and the noise was terrible. We tried contacting the owner but got no reply. Getting up to the room was dangerous, especially with suitcases. The stairs were steep, narrow, and almost like masonry steps. We made a complaint, but the owner never answered. It felt like he'd already got our money and didn't care. It was a bad experience for us, plain and simple.

What stood out most was the warm welcome. I felt at home during my trip, and Flavio kindly helped confirm a taxi late at night and adjusted my checkout time to suit me. The room was huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, plus a comfortable bed. I felt very grateful and at ease!
