We loved Oasis enough to return after two years, and it felt just as good as before. The four brothers and their family are attentive and incredibly honest, and the activities they offer are very fairly priced. The floating houses sit in a wonderfully quiet spot, with great service and everything clean. The kids could swim for hours, paddle the little traditional boats, and try fishing for piranhas, though they caught other fish instead. There are some nice, relaxed activities right there, too. One of my favorite stops on our second round-the-world trip with four kids. Thank you!

The family running the place worked hard and were lovely and honest. We had a really relaxing, enjoyable stay, with delicious meals throughout. We also took a trip to the butterfly and animal reserve and went out in the canoes. I'd recommend staying here to anyone visiting the Iquitos area.

We stayed four nights in one room as a family of four with two teenagers, and had a great time. August was the year's lowest water level, so things like tubing and water skiing weren't available. The water was calm, and mosquitoes weren't an issue. The excursions were excellent, including visits to monkey island, communities, and sanctuaries. You can easily do two or three in a day without arranging much yourself. When we wanted a change from the limited meal choices, they took us to and picked us up from the Amazonas restaurant. It gave us different food and a filtered, chlorinated pool, just a five-minute boat ride away. The meals at the lodge were delicious, though limited. The family and children who run the place were so helpful, and we'll miss them. We can't wait to come back. There are no fans in the room, so I'd suggest bringing a foldable or USB rechargeable one. Stay at least three nights to get a good experience.

We went in July, and none of us had trouble with mosquitoes, even though I stayed on the deck well after dark each night. I was there with my wife, son, daughter, and two grandchildren, and the staff at Amazon Oasis Lodge made the whole visit memorable. We fished from the patio, had delicious meals, visited a local community and an animal rehabilitation center, played with the local monkeys, and watched pink Amazon dolphins at sunset. I'll cherish those memories.

We visited the area as a family and stayed at several lodges, but this one was easily the best. The meals were great, and there are lots of activities. Honestly, you can have a wonderful time without going anywhere: fish for piranhas, swim, play with monkeys, and more. The mosquitoes weren't nearly as bad here as in other areas. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to make the stay feel special. Thanks again, we'll definitely be back soon.
