Most nights were quiet and comfortable, but on weekends music from a nightclub on the same street made it almost impossible to sleep.

The staff were great, the rooms were very clean and tidied daily, and breakfast was really good. WiFi worked well for me, with no connection trouble. I got good value for the price. My room was quiet at night, which matters since I’m a light sleeper. There’s a disco nearby, though, so rooms facing the road or on that side might be noisy.

We woke up to hot water ankle-deep in the room, and all our luggage was soaked. When we called the manager, he just said he’d call the cleaning lady. There was no apology, compensation, or anything. Before that, the room had no windows, and the air conditioning was so loud we couldn’t use it at night. It was too hot to sleep. There were no towels or soap when we arrived either. Honestly, this may be the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Iquitos has plenty of good hotels, so choose another one.

It’s basic, definitely no Ritz Carlton, but the room is clean, safe, and quiet. The staff are accommodating, and breakfast is delicious. We booked after reading the strong online reviews, and we’ve been very pleased. I’d highly recommend it.

They were doing street work, but we could still get in. The staff were great, the rooms were nice, and I had an awesome river view. Breakfast was generous, with lots of fresh things to choose from.
