The old building is beautiful, and we liked the rooftop and all the tip-based activities, from walking tours to salsa lessons. Rebeka led our walking tour and was fantastic, with great English and lots of kindness as we got settled in Peru. The hostel is close to the centre, though I think Miraflores might be a little better for restaurants and things to do. Our room was nice enough.

We booked a private room with two beds, though the hostel also has bunks. It has a relaxed feel, and the rooftop terrace is where meals and happy hour happen. Breakfast was very good. They run activities like salsa lessons and free city walking tours. The building dates to 1900, so sound carries and the insulation isn't great.

The neighborhood has a bit of an edge, but it's within walking distance of central Lima and gives you a real sense of the city. Our room ran warm, though the fan helped. Breakfast was free, with coffee and tea too. The staff were friendly and full of energy, and we had a long, fun, informal hostel tour. My girlfriend needed something printed, and they did it for free.

What a find. Treat this place kindly! The colonial building has gorgeous tiles, ten-foot walls, and loads of room. Breakfast is included, and you can cook for yourself in the rooftop kitchen too.

Our private room was clean and had plenty of space, but the WiFi was poor enough that we couldn't really use the smart TV. The hostel sits between two busy streets, so traffic noise is common. There's a bus stop right out front and a shopping mall around a ten-minute walk away.
