Their customer service was appalling and irresponsible. A translation problem on the official website led us to accidentally book another branch in the same chain. We tried to sort it out days ahead by email and through their official WhatsApp, but customer service was a disaster: we got stuck in a loop with a broken AI bot, and the human staff never replied despite promising to. On check-in day, we went in person to the counter at Casa Andina Standard Benavides for help. Although it belongs to the same hotel chain and shares systems, the front desk staff were cold and unhelpful. They wouldn't make one internal phone call or refer the issue to a manager. Instead, they told us, foreign tourists carrying all our luggage, to walk to the other branch and fix it ourselves. We ultimately left and booked a different hotel nearby. The lack of empathy and cross-branch communication was disgraceful. They dragged things out until the last minute, then said the other branch was full and refused to refund us. If you're traveling internationally, stay away from this chain. If something goes wrong, they'll dodge responsibility and leave you stranded without real human support. Disgraceful business.

The team is what makes this hotel. Nataly was so kind, while Esperanza and Frank were a big help, and Anali and Mayeli were friendly and helpful too. They made me feel at home, and I'd come back for the team alone. The hotel was comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect. I give them seven stars. See you next time. The massage service was good too.

Compared with the other hotels on our tour of Lima, Cusco, and Machu Picchu, this was the most disappointing, though I had no issues with the staff. The room was noisy because of the hotel's poor layout, and its only window faced the corridor. Unless we kept the blind down all the time, there was no real privacy. The other hotels gave us two bottles of water for free, but here they charged 5 soles per bottle. There was no bar fridge or coffee-making facility, which felt like a very poor offering. We were booked here as our final stop before heading home, and if I took this tour again, I'd ask not to stay here.

The location is a strong point. This was my second stay at a Casa Andina Standard property, and the quality seems consistently good, though it's not luxurious. My only complaint is that the restaurants aren't top-notch.

Nothing fancy, but it was clean and the included breakfast was great. Kennedy Park, with lots of good restaurants and shops, is about a 15-minute walk away. The area felt safe, with plenty of people around.
