Casa Hotel Jockey Plaza Mall

The infrastructure is better than you’d expect for what you pay, and I had a good stay with good service.

The location is strategic, and I was fully satisfied with the receptionist’s attention. They handled issues well, but the upkeep of the building and rooms still leaves a lot of room for improvement.

I had a fungal infection on my feet after each of my two stays, which had never happened to me before. They should clean the bathroom with bleach. Noise was another big problem: couples in other rooms were shouting and moaning during sex, and it was incredibly irritating. I complained at reception, but nothing was done. It happened every day, with different rooms each time, so it’s a real shame if you’re visiting with family. To be fair, the rooms were very nice both times, and breakfast was good.

The place is comfortable, clean, and reasonably priced, but the staff made the stay unpleasant. Every time we went out, they kept asking if we were checking out, even though we’d paid in advance. Whether we leave early shouldn’t be their concern. They also repeatedly reminded us that checkout was at noon. Staff should be told to explain hotel rules at check-in if they have questions, rather than creating hassle during the stay.
