There’s plenty nearby and the neighborhood feels safe, though I couldn’t find a post office or postcards in the area. If you’re a light sleeper like I am, bring earplugs for some street noise and barking dogs. It’s generally very calm. The common areas and bedrooms were clean, and the people were friendly and helpful. Ask for breakfast to start the day well: fresh bread, fruit with yogurt and granola, coffee or tea, and eggs. I’d definitely recommend it if you want to stay in Barranco.

The beds were comfortable, the shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water, and there was filtered drinking water too. Everything felt quiet and clean, with lovely decor. We only got to stay one night, which was a shame. Such a great hostel, highly recommend it!

I had two short stays here on separate layovers, and both were really lovely. It’s a bit of a trek from the airport, but having some sweet, unhurried time in Lima made it worthwhile. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet, with beautiful, safe places to walk and the MAC nearby. The rates were affordable, the location worked well for me, there was plenty of hot water, and the hospitality was warm. They also serve a decent breakfast.

Vercy made us feel at home at Casa Nuestra, and we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good, and the quiet location is only a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Barranco.

Freddy made us feel at home right away, with restaurant suggestions and a really welcoming, upbeat manner. We even cooked one evening in one of the B&B’s two well-equipped kitchens. Our room was roomy and comfortable, and breakfast was both delicious and healthy. The B&B is in a handy spot in Barranco, Lima’s cool, artsy neighborhood. We loved this place!
