I felt a huge sense of relief when I got here late at night after leaving another lodging where the doors, locks, and general feel had me worried about my safety. The rooms and property are immaculately clean, the beds are comfortable, and the pillows are lovely. There are hot showers, private bathrooms with plush complimentary towels, and even comfortable robes. I also got delicious free coffee, and the staff helped arrange a last-minute ride with a highly skilled local cab driver. The trip was timely and enjoyable, with a quick tour along the way. The staff were helpful and responsive, and the location is right in the heart of the city, close to lots of bakeries, cafes, and other affordable options. As a solo woman on a budget, I found it a great choice. A local bread vendor did remind me to stay alert and cautious. Lock your car doors even on short trips, during the day and late at night. Lima has so much to offer. If you’re only here briefly, ask the Hostel staff about excursions. With more time, plan the details of your visit in advance. Book online ahead of time if you can. Take care and you should be comfortable here. If you need to elsewhere, you can always bring a padlock and rig a door, but the hassle may not be worth your peace of mind.

The staff are so friendly, polite, and helpful. Rooms are clean, the showers have good pressure, and breakfast is fresh and plentiful. Coffee is excellent, and there’s a good tea selection available around the clock. I loved being close to Parque Kennedy, including the cats, with an easy walk to the cliff-top parks, markets, and plenty of places to eat. I felt very safe, even running at 5 a.m. in the dark, when lots of locals were out exercising. I absolutely love this place and its location. It’ll be my hotel of choice if I return to Lima ❤️

The breakfast hall in the centre of the hotel was really nice, and the staff were so friendly and helped us with all the information we needed. This was our first hotel in South America and certainly one of the best. There was a little noise from outside, which they can’t do much about, but earplugs sorted it out.

Jorge was the best, and the staff were friendly and happy to help. Breakfast was simple but tasted very good. The hotel is great value, and I’d definitely recommend it. It’s a beautiful three-star place across the street from Kennedy park, with a lovely building and amazing, authentic interior. Our room was big and clean, with street-facing windows and a well-equipped, roomy bathroom. We stayed for six nights in February, when it was hot, and the room had a wall fan. I’m sure I’ll book it again next time I’m in Lima. Muchas gracias Jorge :)
