Crowne Plaza Lima by IHG

The breakfast stood out as the best we’ve had compared with other hotels, and the people working in the breakfast area were wonderful. Caroline in particular was kind and very attentive. Everything met our expectations during our stay at CROWNE Plaza Miraflores. We’ll definitely come back.

We had a great stay. The team were consistently warm and helpful, always greeting us with a smile, and Concierge Yomer went above and beyond. He got the smart TV working in our new room and helped us plan our sightseeing days after we moved because our first room’s TV wasn’t smart. That mattered since we speak English and there were only two English channels, with no Netflix access. The hotel is older, but very clean and well cared for. Our bed and pillows were comfortable, and the location made it easy to walk to sights, shops, restaurants, and the Malecon. Breakfast was lovely, with a different selection each day.

One small disappointment was having to pay extra for cappuccino, espresso, or latte when only filter coffee was included. At a five-star hotel, I think those breakfast coffees should be part of the price. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, even offering to bring juice or fruit to our table. That kind of service may suit lots of guests, though I’d rather help myself at the buffet and I’m fine taking the elevator on my own. The hotel is clean and looked after, though a few areas feel dated.

Trip-to-Go found us a great place to stay, and we were very happy with the choice. The food in general was delicious, including the breakfast buffet. Reception, the bellboys, and restaurant team were excellent, all polite, helpful, and respectful.
