The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms have air conditioning and good room service. Food choices are somewhat limited, but the food is still very good, and the price is great. It’s a small hotel in Lima’s affluent San Isidro area, organized and decorated really nicely, with all new furniture. The main drawback is that you can clearly hear what’s said in your room from the corridor. I’d highly recommend it.

I’d stayed at this hotel several times before, but this visit was a huge disappointment. I was going to be away for several days, so I set up a video camera in my room. When I watched the clips later, I saw cleaning staff going through my personal belongings on several occasions. Nothing was taken, since they noticed the camera. I reported it to Monica, who is supposedly the manager, and sent the manager a copy of the video. The room and bathroom also weren’t cleaned properly. The staff were too busy going through my things. BEWARE OF THE CLEANING STAFF WITH STICKY FINGERS. DON’T LEAVE PERSONAL BELONGINGS UNATTENDED. LOCK YOUR STUFF IN YOUR LUGGAGE.

The hotel’s transportation service was wonderful. Mr. Alfredo Sulca provided charming service, and it was reassuring to have safe, punctual transport connected with the hotel. Thank you! We miss you and will be back soon. You deserve 6 stars :) My husband and I spent 11 days at the Angolo Hotel in San Isidro in May 2016, and loved the setting across from a beautiful park, with little traffic and what seemed like plenty of security. The staff made our stay memorable, from Front Desk employees Carmen and Roxanna to Emperatriz and the charming young man at continental breakfast whose name we can’t remember. Every employee made us feel welcome.

The breakfast was too basic, but the service was good. My room was clean, quiet, and smelled nice.

A nice hotel, though similar places are available for a lot less.
