The location is fabulous, just five minutes on foot from the center and ten from the beach overlook. For the price, it’s a bargain so close to the popular parts of Miralores. If you’ve just arrived in Peru, Miraflores makes the transition easier. Staff can help arrange other local accommodation and give solid recommendations. From the bus terminal, a taxi here should cost s./15 max, though I’m not sure about the airport fare. It’s busy, but you barely notice except when people come through for unlimited coffee or tea and bread with jam at breakfast. The place is tranquil, beautifully arranged, and has a relaxed crowd. It stays very quiet at night, and people try to keep noise down so you can nap in the afternoon. All but one room are away from street noise. WiFi is fast and reliable throughout, and private rooms are available if you book ahead. There’s a BBQ, small kitchens in the dorms, and one large kitchen for everyone. The bathrooms are excellent quality and always have paper and soap. It’s consistently super clean, with lots of amenities. The staff are respectful and honest, and the lockers are secure and big enough for both a large and a medium backpack, which is rare. If you’re out until 4 am, they’ll answer the bell in under 30 seconds, provided you press the button all the way down. My mistake, I was kicking myself afterward. I’d definitely recommend it if you want a good, relaxed night’s sleep. Book it and enjoy.
