For a very fair price, I got a good basic room with hot water and reliable WiFi. I stayed two nights, and it was very quiet after dark. I doubt you’ll find a better bargain in this neighborhood.

Sr. Carlos and the staff kept everything running smoothly, and we were very happy at Hospedaje Dimar. It’s clean and comfortable, with a great little cafe focused on fresh fruit juices and smoothies.

For a clean room without spending much, this is a solid budget hotel. It’s a nice step up from hostels or backpacker spots, and since the family who runs the place lives there, you’re well looked after.

The staff were nice, but the stay was a bit of a surprise. I’ve never had to clean my own hotel room or ask for sheets before. For one night it might be fine, but if you’re staying longer, be prepared to grab a broom and rag.

The staff are really friendly, the beds are comfortable, and the showers stay hot. The location’s great too. Hard to ask for much more.
