Hotel Colonial

I’d consider staying here again in winter, but I’d want to see the room first. We were there for two nights with my wife. The rooms are spacious, the bed was okay, and I liked the eucalyptus smell. Still, the place felt neglected: the front desk was dusty and the main lobby wasn’t clean. There’s no air conditioning, just fans, which could be rough in summer. The big windows are nice, but with a busy road right outside, soundproofing is really needed. We also had no hot water, and in room 401 the showerhead was broken and held together with tight wraps. Staff were okay, though checkout took forever because the lady was taking a shower.
