Road repairs began in front of the hotel in the morning, which was a slight downside, though obviously temporary. The hotel is well placed near the Malecon elevated boardwalk, which runs along the suburbs of Miraflores and Barranco. Rooms were modern, very spacious, and very clean.

The breakfast was a great start to the day, with eggs, bacon, and a range of fresh tropical fruit. We also found the hotel comfortable, welcoming, and well organized during our stay. I’d seen negative reviews saying big tour groups could be disruptive for individual guests. We were part of a group ourselves, so maybe our experience was shaped by that, but the hotel seemed to handle the flow very well. Groups appeared to be timed so one had moved on before the next arrived. That was especially clear at breakfast and in the common area near the entrance, which stayed calm and orderly. One thing to know when booking: the website has pool photos, but the front desk told us there isn’t a pool. We couldn’t find one, and the staff we asked didn’t know of one ever being there.

We were very comfortable here, and the staff took good care of us. It’s not the newest or most modern place, but it’s extremely clean, with excellent service and a delicious buffet breakfast. The Miraflores location is great for tourists.

The staff made a great impression. Mara and Cesar at the Front Desk, bellman Ansalon, restaurant server Eduardo, and room attendant Rosanna were all kind, helpful, and professional. Our room on 6F was spacious, clean, and nice, though street noise came through. The towels and bedding smelled lovely. We’d prefer wash cloths and bath towels, since the bath sheets felt too heavy. Breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Great location too. Highly recommended!
