La Paz Apart Hotel

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were super nice, helped us get onto a city hike, and gave useful advice about other activities. Our room was a fully furnished apartment with a kitchenette stocked with utensils, a microwave, and a hotplate. It was big, spacious, and super clean, with a very large, comfortable bed. The beach and malls are both within walking distance.

The prices were very reasonable, and we thought the quality made it great value. The hotel was also in the perfect spot for what we wanted to do in Lima, within walking distance of several activities and places to visit. It seemed like a safe area, though that may depend on your plans in the city. We stayed for several days, took a short break to visit other parts of the country, then came back to finish our Lima vacation. I was especially impressed by the customer service. Francis was welcoming and helpful as we planned our time in Lima, and the communication was second to none.

The apartment suite worked well for us, with a microwave, stove, fridge, dishes, utensils and a TV. The place seemed clean, and the interior was decent. There are elevators, and the front desk staff were helpful. They spoke some English, so I barely needed translation when asking questions. The location was convenient too: a grocery store is a block away, and the airport shuttle and some really good restaurants are close by. Breakfast was very basic, with scrambled eggs, mini pancakes, coffee and the like. The kitchen knives were dull, and there were no replacements. I enjoyed the stay and had hardly any problems.

Miraflores is the place to be in Lima, and this location is just the best. The staff are super. It isn't luxurious, but it's clean and has a homey feel. Breakfast is a real highlight too.
