I left after the man at the front desk tried to film me entering my PIN into the card machine. He also kept the 50 soles I had paid in cash. The two men made me feel very unsafe. I'd strongly recommend booking somewhere else, and hope the owner takes this review seriously. Your staff are doing you a disservice.

The service was clean and professional, and the hotel is in a great spot in the center of Barranco. It's affordable.

Avoid this hotel at any cost. It felt very unsafe and was extremely dirty.

Awful, old, moldy and smelly. The receptionist was a complete sadist. He kept asking what country we were from, apparently to work out a price, but the amount he gave us was nowhere near accurate. It felt like a total rip-off. He asked me for 190 soles for a triple room. Five minutes later, without checking a book or computer, he suddenly said it wasn't available anymore. Disgusting. I would never recommend this place. The accommodation is terrible, and it shouldn't even have stars.

My family and I had excellent service and were treated really well as Argentinians. I highly recommend the place back home. It was a unique experience and very reasonably priced. I'll be back.
