We stayed here twice in different rooms while traveling around Peru for seven days, and both visits were spectacular. The hotel felt exceptionally clean and well kept, from the beds and amenities to the lobby, restaurant, and food. It has an affordable kind of luxury that made it feel like a six-star place. Staff were friendly, professional, bilingual, and consistently courteous and respectful. We felt safe and comfortable throughout, and strongly recommend it.

The room was spacious, and the hanging counter was a useful touch. A few bathroom details could be improved: the floor gets slippery, so a grab bar would help, and another hook behind the door plus a towel rack and hanging bar above the shower mixer would be welcome. The charging points for mobile devices are too low and hidden behind the desk. Marylin from Saya looked after us at dinner on our first day and over the next few days. She was courteous, helpful with suggestions, especially the cooked breakfast items, and a joy to have around. The food, including the buffet breakfast, was very good. Reception also helped us out and recommended nearby Pucllana, which was useful on our first trip to South America. I’d recommend Manto Hotel for a quiet, relaxing stay.

The lobby and restaurant have a stunning design, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. There’s a gym, though no spa. Breakfast had the essentials plus a selected à la carte menu. They have a modern portafilter machine, but only filter coffee is included. Espresso and cappuccino cost extra, which seems ridiculous for a five-star hotel.
