Checking out took a long time because they had to verify that nothing was stolen from our room. Check-in, on the other hand, was easy. The room seemed updated, and the bed was very comfortable. I was surprised there was only one elevator in the hotel. The bathroom was tiny, and the rain shower never got hot or strong enough.

The staff were helpful and spoke English and Spanish, and the Wi-Fi was great. My family also really enjoyed the quality and variety at the breakfast buffet. The rooms were a bit small but very clean. The location is convenient, although on our second stay we had a room right over the restaurant and mornings were noisy. Turning the music down could make the second floor more peaceful. The bathroom had no soap dish or lotion. It would also help to have a filtered water fountain in the lobby so guests could refill bottles instead of buying single-use plastic ones.

I really enjoyed my stay and wish I’d booked more than two nights. The staff were welcoming and extremely helpful, and breakfast was tasty with lots of fresh fruit. My room was clean, with a comfortable bed, good-quality sheets, and an extra blanket if needed. The towels were really soft. There was a working TV with cable channels, a mini fridge, and a temperature control. A huge window let in lots of natural light and could be opened for fresh air. The room faced the road, but soundproofing reduced traffic noise and noise from other guests. You could still hear them, but it wasn’t too disruptive.

The location was okay, but the water was only warm, never hot, and that’s a big issue for me. This is a budget hotel with very small bathrooms. The shower was maybe two and a half feet by three. I’m not sure how it gets a four-star rating. I didn’t enjoy my stay and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
