Pirwa Hostel Prada

We had a lovely single room at Hostel Prada, with a really useful desk for working. The windows opened onto the hallway, but that worked out fine: there was light and it stayed quiet, while the street outside could get noisy. The place is peaceful and pretty, and Pedro and Nick were so patient and helpful with everything. They made my friend and me feel very welcome.

The staff made this feel like home. I loved chatting with Belén, Julian, Andriana, and the rest of the team, who greeted me with warm smiles and were always ready to help. Enrique also hosted a stand-up comedy show that added something special to my stay. The hostel is clean and thoughtfully designed, with local restaurants all around and Kennedy Park about 10 minutes away. I spent nearly two weeks here, got plenty of rest, and now feel ready for the next journey. All the best to everyone, and I hope we meet again soon.🥰🥰

The staff were nice, and I appreciated the strong WiFi, Netflix when I felt sick, and their offer to make me chicken soup. They were also fine with me checking in early on my first day. The breakfast of a couple of scrambled eggs, a couple of rolls, and coffee or tea was enough to get me going, though the coffee was weak. I picked this place for its interior room and spot a couple of blocks away from the madness, where I could actually sleep. It isn't a social hostel: there are only a few rooms, no common room, kitchen, or hangout area. I saw a few people checking out the day I arrived. They charge to store luggage. The shower only gets lukewarm. Be careful with the water in the breakfast area. They said it was boiled, but it tasted off to me.

I didn't stay overnight, just used the luggage storage, and it all went smoothly. I highly recommend the service!
