The rooms were clean and comfortable. After a long walk, I asked for some ice to put in my water and was sent to the bar. The bartender wanted me to pay for it, and didn't care when I said I was a guest. There didn't seem to be management around during Easter week. Breakfast on Good Friday was poor, and there appeared to be too few staff. That's why I'm rating it lower.

The breakfast runs from 6:30-10:30, but after 10 you shouldn't count on empty trays being refilled. You'll have to make do with what's left. The Wi-Fi was unreliable in my corner room, 1005. Maybe the location had something to do with it, but internet matters for almost everything these days, and I've had better service in much more remote places. There's no ramp at the entrance. They do have a chair lift, or you can carry your bags up about five steps before reaching the entrance. The hotel is also on a very busy intersection, so allow extra time for an Uber or taxi to reach you, especially during rush hour.

The room was spotless, the shower had good pressure and hot water, and the AC worked really well. Staff were friendly and keen to help, and there were good restaurants within walking distance. I used points for a stay from September 12th Thursday to September 15th Sunday during my Lima, Peru visit. A quick Google search had put San Isidro near the top of the safest neighborhoods in Lima, and the proximity to beautiful Miraflores was great. I'd read that Uber drivers often canceled pickups at the hotel, but that didn't happen to me. I can't think of anything the property could have done better, and I'd definitely stay again.

It's a quiet, very clean hotel, and the location is handy. The walk to Ripley San Isidro takes about 10 minutes. Plaza Santa Catalina and Estacion Javier Prado, where you can catch express buses to Barranco or Old Lima, are 10 to 15 minutes away on foot. Cruz del Sur's bus terminal at La Victoria is around a 20-minute walk. Breakfast is the usual continental style, and the friendly staff speak English.

The price felt high for the level of service. I booked through trip advisor, believing I had already paid because a payment was pending on my credit card. I had also asked for a quiet room so I could rest. After checking in, I tried calling room service several times and got no answer. I'm disabled, but had to get dressed and make the long trip down from the twelth floor. I found Manger Cindy and her receptionist chatting. They said they were busy with arrivals, though nobody was there. My dinner finally arrived around midnight. The service itself was okay, but the wait was far too long. On Saturday night, I was robbed at the hotel while security watched without helping. At 1:30 Sunday morning, people checked into rooms next to mine, moved furniture, and made enough noise to ruin my sleep. When I came back after being out all day on Monday night, my room hadn't been cleaned. I reported it, and house keeping staff Andreas came in without knocking while I was changing and saw me naked. That invaded my privacy. I reported it, but Shift Manager Raul took no action. Then at 6:00AM Tuesday, a phone call and house keeping woke me. They said it was a mistake. Cindy offered a free dinner to make up for things, but there was hair in it. I paid for a replacement meal myself and threw the free one away. I was surprised by all this treatment since I tipped the staff each time and stayed polite. The TV remote never worked and eventually had to be replaced. At checkout Raul treated me roughly, saying I hadn't paid for the room, even though they had my card details and I'd given them to trip advisor. It was very rude, especially since I always paid up front for everything. For what it costs, I can't recommend this hotel. The service doesn't match the standards it claims to offer.
