Breakfast was good, but the problems with the facilities made the stay inconvenient. We booked through Booking.com and the hotel added a $25 charge. The receptionist couldn't even say what it was for, and we never got a refund behind the scenes either. Not a clean plan.

The included breakfast was okay, but the stay was poor, and I'd say this place could be a health risk. As soon as we entered, the damp air hit me. I have allergies and could immediately smell mold. The beds themselves seemed fine, but the decorative pillows and small bedcover smelled like they hadn't been washed. The lamp was dusty, with dust stuck to the glass on top. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, sheets felt damp, and towels wouldn't dry even over a full day. Gaps between the window panes meant the windows wouldn't close fully. On the second day they didn't clean the room at all, so we had to ask for fresh towels and more toilet paper. Maybe they only leave one roll because the damp air would make more useless. We'd arranged airport pickup, but nobody was there to meet us. Then they had the nerve to ask us to pay because one towel had a bloodstain. Poor service and accommodation.

They picked us up at the airport and had us on our way the next morning, which was perfect. The hotel was affordable, modern, and tidy, a remarkable find in a pretty random spot. Lima felt big and a bit dirty when we landed.

We got the most expensive room, and it was still small and old. The service was bad, the breakfast terrible, and this hotel gave us a bad first impression of Lima.
