Sm Hotel Plus

The room itself was good, but they charged me 5 USD over a small mark on a towel. I also changed my airport hotel taxi with five hours' notice and got charged twice. That’s absurd and unheard of. They won’t get many customers this way.

My room was roomy and clean, but nobody cleaned it during the three days I was there. The breakfast was very basic: bread, eggs, juice, and one coffee were included. It’s an affordable option in a safe area, about a 20-minute ride from the airport, Miraflores, and the old town. It felt like they were trying to provide as little service as possible.

A decent enough place, and it felt safer here.

I could hear banging, dishes, and things being moved from the kitchen through the interior windows, even late at night and in the early morning. Getting any rest was hard. The shower stayed clogged for all three days, despite several requests to fix it, and management never gave me a serious response when I tried to raise the problems. The whole place felt neglected and dirty. The elevator was covered in greasy grime and handprints, and the cramped dining room was unpleasant too. I couldn’t bring myself to eat breakfast there. The food looked artificial and poorly prepared, and the service felt nowhere near worth the price. The rooms were small and poorly maintained, and the building itself seemed badly laid out and cared for. I couldn’t find a single positive thing about the stay. It was a deplorable experience from start to finish. I uploaded videos so people can see for themselves. I absolutely don’t recommend this hotel.
