The staff were nice and the hotel itself was OK, with nice rooms. But the bed had bed bugs, and I ended up with scabies too. I put 20 bugs in a plastic tictac box and brought it downstairs. They discounted the booking and moved me, but I'd already been bitten all over within an hour. The bites were awful, angry red blotches that itched and hurt, and lasted for weeks. My skin was ruined for weeks, and then I had to get treated for scabies as well. It's hard to understand how such a huge infestation could be missed. Imagine if I'd slept there, or if it had been a child. It would've been disastrous. I need a full refund and compensation for this awful experience. They also need to show housekeeping what bed bugs look like so they can prevent this trauma.

The communal space was crap, and this is not a hotel. We had our own bathroom, but there was a shared one beside our room, and people were really noisy using it. I had a terrible night's sleep. The room smelled damp, too. We asked reception for a bath plug, but they said they didn't want us using the bath.

We booked through Agoda and arrived early this morning to find that Selina Posada / SocialTel had gone bankrupt and no longer operates here. We're still waiting for a refund from Agoda, and it's a real pain that Selina Posada can still be booked through multiple apps and Google, with nobody willing to take the listing offline. Thankfully, there's a different hotel here now called Qema, and they're helping us. Find Qema instead and spare yourself the headache, including sitting for hours in a nearby McDonald's while hoping reception can help.

I was in a four-bed dorm. The room and facilities were great, the staff were nice, and the restaurant served fresh, great food. The common area felt small for around 8-10 people, though. My room window wouldn't seal shut, so outside noise came through, and there was no curtain to block the sunrise. If you get good roommates, I can imagine this being amazing, since everything else is nice and comfortable. Mine was annoying. She set off 30 alarms over 30+ minutes, turning each one off and going back to sleep. I'd never seen anything like it.
