Trendy Host Osma, Barranco

I was warned about this place, and the service really was horrible. It looks nice on the surface, but it's cheap and dirty, with no hot water, no supplies, and awful laundry. The apartment was smaller than the photos suggested. The garden and lounges are beautiful, but only for show, and security was rude. They gave us a long list of rules only after the reservation could no longer be canceled. No guests, alcohol, smoking, noise, loud movies, or celebrations. None of it makes sense. I'm not exaggerating.

It looks impressive from a distance, but inside it was cheap, dirty, very small compared with the photos, and had no hot water. You're not allowed to use the garden, which is just there for show, and it felt like you couldn't do anything. Expedia listed it as a hotel, but it turned out to be an Airbnb. The advertising was misleading, and the service was terrible. I'll be asking for a refund.

A great modern serviced apartment, fully equipped with a kitchen, right in the heart of Barranco.

The location was the one good thing. The place was dirty throughout, including the kitchen cutlery and appliances, the walls, floor, and bed sheets. Some broken items were patched with tape, like a fridge shelf. There was nowhere to leave bags, even for a few hours. The pool was tiny, more like a cold hot tub. The owner, Jesus, was rude, and the front desk staff didn't speak English. The photos on the booking site didn't match what was there: furniture was missing, including kitchen stools and the shared table, so there was no proper place to eat. They also tried to get payment through a strange website instead of accepting payment through booking.com, which felt like a scam.
