The reception lady took great care of us and speaks English really well. We ran into a couple of problems when we arrived, but the staff sorted them out quickly. Everything was clean and well maintained during our two nights last week. Verona is only a year old and, to me, the best hotel in this area. I'll definitely stay again next time I'm in Lima.

I went in to ask about seeing a room, and the bellhop made a quick stop to deliver condoms to a guest. That hotel isn't for me. I left and went to the Sheraton.

The address listed online and on Google Maps didn't even lead to the place. The taxi driver told me, "I dont recommend walkimg in this meighbohood". I went on and found another hotel. Dangerous.
