Las Tortugas

You can walk straight from the bungalows onto a beautiful, quiet beach that was exceptionally clean. The place itself is peaceful, well looked after, and friendly. It’s close to Mancora but tucked away from the tourist crowds.

We’ve been here twice and are already sure we’ll return. We recommended it to family and friends, and they all loved it too. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast is delicious, and the service is excellent. We had a room with a kitchenette, just steps from the beach, with an unobstructed view because there are no buildings in front. Thank you, Melinda, and the whole team!

From the delicious breakfast on my terrace to the care put into the bungalows, it all made me feel at home at Las Tortugas. I watched whales and their calves leaping for a full hour from my bed, then a pod of dolphins appeared. Melinda welcomed us with her magical voice and her great team, and the sound of the waves was there each evening and morning. The peace here is pure magic. 🐢✨

Watching sunset over the beach and hearing the sea at night was a real bonus. The place was clean, had a lovely beach view, and a private entrance across the street. Our host Melinda was incredibly warm and friendly. I’d definitely recommend it, though the entrance could use some improvement.
