The room was spacious, but we were charged 30% more than the price on our reservation because it was larger than the room we’d booked. They gave us a different room at check-in, saying this sometimes happens when a room is already occupied. The owners seemed nice until it came time to pay, and I don’t think they’re honest. There are plenty of other places in Pisco where you could stay. We had a rough start, too. There were no signs outside, and most taxi drivers didn’t know the address. When we arrived, nobody was there. We and some other guests waited outside for an hour.
