It's an easy walk to the main plaza, even at night, and there are several places to eat in the neighborhood. For a budget backpacker, this ho(s)tel is just right: very economical, with great service and a comfortable room. The room has a fan and a refreshing shower, with no luxuries, as you'd expect at this price. Thanks again, Ronald and everyone. I had a very pleasant stay.

This is a low-end room rental, not a hotel, and I found it a horrid place to stay. It's noisy, with no soundproofing. The interior rooms have no windows, and smoke from other people's rooms spreads through the whole building. Please avoid it.

For someone traveling alone, it's quite economical. With two people, the price is about average compared with other hotels. There's no air conditioning, which is essential in the summer months. On longer stays, the bathrooms aren't cleaned every day, and the bins aren't emptied. Both times I stayed, the fan was very noisy. I mentioned it the first time, and I can't understand why they didn't switch it off right away. Nobody can sleep with that constant noise. Guest comfort should matter a lot in this kind of business, and that needs to change.
