La Torre Valsai

We spent about fifteen days here in a triple room with a private bathroom, my wife, daughter and me, and were very happy with our stay. I’d give it an 8 or 9 out of 10. The owner, Mr. Hugo, was especially helpful with the price and with recommendations for our visit, and we’re grateful for that. The building’s height and style don’t really fit this beautiful location, but the upkeep, cleanliness, service and friendliness were better than anywhere else we’d found on our travels, including Ica and Cusco. Room service was also very good. The reception team, kitchen staff who serve the generous breakfast, and the people who clean the rooms were all attentive and competent.

The rooms are comfortable and meet guests’ needs, and the basic cleaning service was enough for a peaceful rest. There’s also a terrace, laundry facilities, and a restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. A good place to rest in Puerto Maldonado, recommended.

For a relaxing stay, this quiet, welcoming hotel works well and the prices are reasonable. It’s a bit far from the city center, and the breakfast could have more variety. Otherwise, everything was fine.

A decent, clean, well-kept hotel, and the Wi-Fi was fine. It isn’t very central, but a few soles gets you to the center quickly.
