We enjoyed this place for its wildlife, local community, and excellent value as a small business. The two bungalows were spacious, with high ceilings, good bathrooms, balconies, wifi, hot showers, and fly screens around the windows. Nicolas was wonderful, kind, friendly, respectful, and helpful with rides when we needed to go places. He organized excellent daily tours for small groups of fewer than 8 pax, cooked really tasty meals, and helped us find birds and a sloth nearby. Squirrel monkeys were close by, and other resorts nearby offer a pool or river access if that's what you need. The two dogs are beautiful, and we already miss cuddling them. My only suggestions would be to have tea and coffee available all day and to provide a large shower mat to catch the extra water.

The place was clean and quiet, with spacious, comfortable rooms and private bathrooms. We had fantastic, tasty food, and the hosts were so kind and friendly. The beautiful grounds had fruit trees, hammocks, chickens and goats wandering around, and two lovely dogs to play with. I highly recommend a stay here.

We had a great time at Quirquincho. It's a peaceful place away from the city where you can relax and enjoy nature. You can arrange meals and tours with Nicolas, the host, and we also loved spending time with the very cute dogs Trixie and Zeus. Tambopata is a small town where people are committed to preserving nature and biodiversity, and it was nice to see local tour guides promoting that themselves. We saw caimans, capibaras, and lots of birds. Such a cool experience, loved it!

We had a wonderful time and hope to come back. Quirquincho House Lodge is quiet and surrounded by nature. Nicholas was so friendly and helpful, made us beautiful meals, and made us feel at home. He even took us to exchange money and stop at a store to pick up supplies before we came to the lodge. All the activities were well organized and started on time. Vice and Karmela

Nicolas was amazing throughout our stay, sorting out breakfast, lunch, dinner, and answers to all our tour questions. You can book trips with him and he takes care of the rest. The prices are reasonable, and the local guides weren't caught up in mass tourism. The lodge is only two years old and still in excellent condition. Thank you for a wonderful stay in such a beautiful place. The dogs are very pushy, so that could be an issue if you don't like dogs. There isn't a pool for really hot days, but Nicolas will drive you to another lodge that has one at no extra cost. Amazing service!
