Hotel Royal Inn

Really good!

A lovely place, and the service is excellent. The staff are always paying attention to what you need.

The pool was a highlight: warm even when it was cold outside, spotless, and sheltered from the wind by its tempered glass walls. There were pretty plants and excellent white plastic loungers. The man at the door was friendly, and so were the cleaning ladies. We stayed five days and had a great time in Room 303, which was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. I’d return, though the bedspreads need updating, and a couple more pillows would be welcome since the double room only had two small ones. The blankets were very good. At night the room was completely dark, but during the day it needed more light. There was just one small window. It had a mini-fridge, hairdryer, large closet, TV with YouTube and Netflix, and a little table with one chair. For a double room, two chairs would make sense. At this price, other hotels often add two armchairs as well as a desk or table. A tea setup with an electric kettle and two cups would also be a nice touch, as at comparable hotels. The buffet was fairly basic next to what other hotels in this price range serve. The choices included juices, yogurt, cereal, scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, avocado, gelatin, cake, coffee, and milk. The pineapple juice was good, but breakfast was the same each day, and there were five of us. They could improve the buffet a bit.
