The restaurant on the first floor had great food, and the front desk was friendly and knew a bit of English. The room was really nice too, with a large TV, a big bed, and a hot shower. If you're in Talara, I highly recommend this hotel. 9/10

The staff were very pleasant, and that counts for a lot. My husband, who is from Peru, says this is typical of what's offered there. For visitors from the USA, think Motel 6 with upgraded towels. Our queen room had a comfortable bed with two pillows and very nice sheets. The bathroom had hot water in the shower, but not at the sink. The TV didn't have much in the way of English language channels. All rooms are non-smoking, which mattered to us. We wouldn't have stayed otherwise. Breakfast is included, but the meal is just scrambled eggs, bread, tea, coffee, and local juices. There aren't other options included in the price. You can buy extras for the eggs, like ham and cheese. If you only want coffee, that's no problem.
