I loved the swimming pool right outside my room, and the air-conditioned room was very clean and comfortable. The Peruvian food was delicious, and the hotel arranged a package with a tourist guide for trips to the laguna and waterfalls, which was amazing. It’s only about 5-10 minutes from the Tarapoto airport, in a safe and secure setting. There are shops nearby for gifts too. It was a wonderful stay at an exceptional hotel.

They’ve got a big pool with a great view of the city. For me, this is the best new BBQ restaurant in Tarrapoto.

The price is far below what I’d expect, and there’s room for improvement. I stayed two nights, and they never changed the sheets or cleaned the room. They don’t have enough staff, just one person in charge who was clearly overwhelmed.

It’s a real shame, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Only two people were serving the whole place, and there was no friendliness or empathy toward guests.

I never found the place. They asked me to pay for the reservation by bank transfer, which made me think it might be a scam, so I called the number. They told me it was a private home.
