The mattress sagged, and the only fan they gave me barely worked. It was terribly hot inside, while the transport agencies next door made noise all night. The facilities leave a lot to be desired.

A double bed and a twin bed cost 100 soles a night, and my room was clean. The price and quality seem to match. I heard a little noise since my room was by the window, but otherwise things were fine. Wi-Fi was slow in room 301, though it worked very well in the Hobby area.
The one good thing was the steady Wi-Fi, which I’m using to write this. Otherwise, the place felt poorly managed and organized, and it’s noisy. Other hotels offer breakfast, but here there’s none and the price stays the same. The staff weren’t friendly, and nobody helped with loading or unloading luggage, even on the first day. The beds and pillows were dusty. I can’t recommend it.
After checking five other hotels nearby, I was disgusted with every place I asked about or looked at. This hotel was my salvation: tidy, with excellent service and, best of all, a sense of security. In a country like Peru, that kind of security is a luxury not every hotel provides.
The rooms are clean and tidy, and the price is reasonable for what you get. I did hear noise from the touts at neighboring businesses, though that’s not the hotel’s fault. The service was excellent, with real attention to detail, so I’m giving it 5 stars.
