The location is hard to beat, and the views of the Andes from the rooms are spectacular. It’s a great spot for exploring nearby places. My first night was rough because of loud noise from above my room, 701. Reception explained that the noise came from the kitchen upstairs, apologized sincerely, and moved me straight away to a lower floor, with a jacuzzi room upgrade. Both women at reception are genuinely lovely, and they handled my concerns really well. Breakfast is served differently from what earlier reviews describe, as there doesn’t seem to be a buffet. They bring one juice and one coffee, along with the usual egg, ham, and cake. That was fine, though the man serving breakfast seemed a bit abrupt when I asked for another juice. I’d initially say to keep your expectations low and remember you get what you pay for, after that bad first night, but the reception team really deserves credit.

The free breakfast was the only good part for me. I checked out early after a month of staying in different places around Peru, this was my least favorite. If you want peace and quiet, don’t stay here. I was on the 6th floor and could hear people walking and moving chairs and furniture all day and night. The walls are thin, so I also heard neighboring guests talking. There’s a nightclub next door, with loud music until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays. My room was cold, and even with two blankets I slept terribly because of the noise and temperature. The shower had unlimited hot water, but there was no shower door, so water went all over the bathroom. There was a desk but no chair, and the internet was spotty, so I probably couldn’t have worked there anyway.

We booked a night here for a concert in the city and were really pleased. The service was excellent, breakfast was great, and the room was very clean. They offered free hot drinks, and when we asked for extra warm blankets, they brought them up so quickly. We’d absolutely recommend the place and will stay again.

The room was the highlight for me: spacious, really comfortable, and the jacuzzi felt like having my own little spa. The front desk team made me feel at home from the start, always friendly, efficient, and smiling. Food and drink service was just right too. You can tell things are made with care, and the staff go out of their way to help. Huge thanks to the whole team for making my stay so special. I can’t wait to come back!

The rooftop has lovely city views, and there’s also a restaurant on the 8th floor with three vegan or vegetarian options. The hotel has some stairs at the entrance, though there’s an elevator once inside. Staff were generally friendly and helpful, including carrying bags upstairs. There’s some spoken English, and the place has a luxurious feel. My room had a mini fridge, which was handy for the market fruit and almond milk I stored there, plus a waterfall shower with a side spray and hot water. In August the days are warm but nights get a little chilly. There was one space heater in the room, and you can ask for an extra blanket. Breakfast was okay and had vegan and vegetarian choices, but the options dwindled during our four nights as supplies ran low. The coffee was dark roast and not plentiful. I only managed to get one cup, though we usually arrived with just 30 minutes left before breakfast ended at 9am. At 9 sharp, all the food is removed, so don’t be late. I developed a bit of a traveler’s stomach and was worried about protein, so I asked for extra egg whites beyond the two provided. Two people told me they were free, but on the last day I was charged S/. 6 for a portion of two. If you’re not a dog person, you may want to avoid the breakfast area. Sometimes the dog is in the lobby too. He roams freely and is mostly friendly, but can be territorial at times, and will try to get your food.
