Take my reviews with a grain of salt. Even two people staying in the same room can have completely different experiences, and everyone has different standards. I stayed five nights, and the photos didn’t match what I found, which was disappointing. The bed was the most important thing to me, and I slept well on the mattress. It was a 10/10 for comfort, with extra blankets and four pillows, just how I like it. The place also has a huge kitchen, large shared areas that are nice to hang out in, and a beautiful backyard and view. But the bathroom sink was dirty from the previous guests, the floor hadn’t been swept, and there were lots of spots on the walls and door frames that needed touch-ups. The bathroom light fixture was out of place and killed the vibe. What bothered me most was that there was no water filter in the kitchen for guests to get clean drinking water. I believe hotels and Airbnbs should provide that as a basic part of a comfortable stay. The staff and Lui’s were very kind, attentive, and accommodating. Am I coming back? No. But what matters to me may not matter to you, so see for yourself.
