The beachfront setting is what makes it feel like paradise: sand runs from the front of the hotel to the sea, with palms, beach beds, a pool, and La muña serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The employees and other people there were lovely. It seems great for a couple's trip, though families come too, so it may not suit someone seeking a couples-only atmosphere. The rooms were fine, but could use renovation. My bed felt a little worn, the toilet was a bit loose, and a few easy fixes stood out: the refrigerator looked shabby, some mosquito netting needed repair, and parts of the bamboo terrace fence needed fixing. I'd still highly recommend it for a couple's vacation.

The facilities feel worn and could be cleaned and maintained better. Still, the staff were nice and the food was good. The beach is wonderful, although it's a long way from town.
