Our five days in Hiva-Oa were easy and comfortable thanks to this place. The cabin was clean and lovely, with an amazing view and a beautiful balcony. They were quick to answer questions, suggested trips, helped us rent a car and make bookings, and dinner was well worth having. We can only recommend staying here.

Temetiu Village gave us a wonderful stay, with magnificent views from both the bungalow and restaurant. Antonio, the manager, is delightful and gave us great advice about things to do around the island. The staff were friendly, the meals generous and delicious, and you can rent a car right there at competitive prices. In the evening, the little pool is lovely, with a view over the bay. My son and I had a lovely stay at the warm, welcoming Temetiu guesthouse, which is laid out nicely. Tonio and Amélie helped us plan our time on Hiva Oa and find tucked-away rainforest spots that can be hard to locate. Baja and Marie-Flore made delicious meals in the kitchen. My son still talked about the avocado and raw fish dish we had one evening a few weeks earlier, and we kept ordering it. The rooms were comfortable with a nice view, the guesthouse wasn't far from town, and cars were available to rent. It's been a year, and I still have wonderful memories of the team at Temetiu Village, Atuona and its museums, Chez Iris restaurant, the black sand beach, exploring Hiva Oa, and seeing the marae and tikis hidden in the forest. A truly special memory, and I hope to come back someday.

The setting is magnificent, and the staff are attentive and warm. The bungalows really need renovating, especially the bathrooms. Breakfast was meager, and don't arrive late for the evening buffet.
