We ran into Viti’a and manola while shopping in town, and they offered to drive our groceries back. By the time we got to our rooms, the refrigerated things were already in the fridge. She was so kind to show us around :) This is the best pension or hostel I've ever stayed at. Viti’a picked us up at the airport, and after we dropped our bags she walked us into town and pointed out her favorite breakfast places and spots for fish. She even stopped at the restaurant and bar on the way to suggest we reserve happy hour for Friday, when there's live music. She gave us loads of useful advice and offered to help us rent a car or book a boat tour. She was a godsend.

Manola and her helper "Vertira" (wrong spelling) were wonderful. They did all they could to help, and made things much easier for us as non-French speakers. The place is basic but clean and has everything you need. Highly recommend it if you don't need a 4- or 5-star hotel.

Manola gave us a fantastic welcome. She's lovely and very accommodating. The guesthouse was spotless, with bikes and cars available to rent. It's close enough to walk easily to the center, and there's a beautiful public beach about five minutes away on foot. I highly recommend it!

The thing we'll remember most is how kind and helpful Manola was. She gave us a warm welcome, then took the time to show us around Fare so we'd know our way around. We rented two bungalows for our group of six, three people in each. They're tucked away from the road and arranged around a pool, which was lovely for cooling off. There's a comfortable spot to have a drink or a meal, and the rooms come with AC, a TV, and even Netflix. The bungalows are an easy walk from Fare, so getting to the market or supermarket is simple. The guesthouse also has several rental cars, handy for exploring the island at your own pace.

We stayed at the guesthouse in October 2023 and came away with lovely memories. Maëva and the other staff were super nice, the owner was very kind, and the service was great. Eric and Valou Duprez
