I felt at home in my bungalow, tucked into the greenery, and ended up extending my stay. It’s only about a 15 minute walk to what I thought was Moorea’s best beach, and the bed was really comfortable. The decor fits the island’s natural setting, and the place looked like the photos, maybe even better. Lucie and Philippe took such good care of me that I felt like family. The optional breakfast costs less than $20 and was fresh, delicious, and varied. It was also a fun way to meet other couples, families, and solo travelers. I’d recommend this place to all kinds of travelers looking to experience Polynesian culture. After years of travel, this was the sort of French Polynesia vacation I’d been hoping for. I fell in love with the place and the island, and I’ll definitely come back.

I loved the family bungalow. It was spotless, and everything worked well. The hosts are such a welcoming, kind family, and I’m glad this was my first stay on Moorea. They helped me arrange a scooter and shared plenty of local tips, even though my French is nonexistent. Thanks for everything!

The gardens were beautifully kept, with things like butter and honey made on site. Our room was lovely, and breakfast was fairly priced for the generous portion and quality. The owners, Lucie and Phillipe, are clearly passionate about what they do. They were attentive and kind, and we had a lovely stay.

The location is tucked back in a valley, away from the main route, so having your own transport would make getting in and out much easier. Since you’re surrounded by woods, bring mosquito repellent. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend considering it for a Moorea visit. My two daughters and I stayed four days. The hosts and their daughter were kind, helpful, and accommodating, and we enjoyed meeting them and the other guests. Our room fit the three of us comfortably, with three beds, a small fridge for drinks, and a shower with strong water pressure. Guests can also use the full kitchen in the shared area.
