The beach is spacious enough that it never felt crowded, and the location is great. It’s a short walk to town, shops, and outside restaurants, and bikes are available to rent. The staff are so friendly, especially the restaurant servers. Bring plenty of bottled water, though: I can’t speak for the bungalows, but water in the chambre rooms isn’t potable. That’s the only negative I found at the resort. I can’t wait to return, so please consider staying here!

The cafe setting is incredible, and I could take the bland pizza back to my room, but I didn't want to eat there again. One of the morning staff was extremely rude. She threw ice at a chicken, nearly hitting me, and stomped around in a way that put me on edge. The other women were nice, but that one interaction was enough to put me off returning. The food was average and very overpriced. My stay in room 22 was unacceptable. The room was badly dated and full of ants, and I was bitten constantly. There was no air conditioning, and the bathroom reeked of sewage. The shower drain kept foaming, and the smell was so strong I had to wash my clothes twice afterward. It seemed to me that furniture wax was being used to cover it. After showering, it felt like I was drying myself in human slurry. The open netting at the top of the window also meant I could hear the neighbours during a moment that wasn't very private. That's not the hotel's fault, but it made the room feel even less private. The whole block needs to be rebuilt. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this place. If it improves, I might rewrite this review.

We spent the day out on the water, renting a motorized boat for two hours to swim with rays and sharks and go snorkeling. We didn't stay at the property, but had an incredible lunch right by the water. The tuna sashimi melted in my mouth, the service was top notch, and the food arrived very quickly. It's a great spot for a day out.

The location looks beautiful in the morning, which almost makes the very minimal breakfast feel worth what it costs. We added half board. Dinner included an appetizer, main course, and dessert from the menu. It was fine, though the choices felt repetitive over our six days. Thursday's Polynesian show was really nice. We stayed in one of the four garden rooms. It was very spacious, and having an outdoor area was nice. The wall is open at the very top, so it was unfortunately very, very noisy. Apart from that, we had a very pleasant stay. The beach is only a few minutes away on foot, and for the price, you couldn't ask for more.
