We stayed twice, once in a regular room and once in a "cabine" with a shared bathroom. I loved the room, especially the window and balcony looking toward the ferry terminal. There was only one English channel, so we streamed Netflix from our phone to the TV. The cabine worked well for keeping our bags, resting, and showering before the flight home. We could hear someone singing in the next room pretty clearly, so it may not suit light sleepers. The location was really handy, with the ferry just across the street and the market, banks, restaurants, and shopping centers all close enough to walk to.

Clement made our arrival so easy. We had no reservation, but he sorted everything out quickly while also giving other guests the same attentive help. We really appreciated how helpful and dedicated he was. The hotel and its location were both fantastic, and the reviews were right. Everything, from the facilities to the service, was impeccable. We had an amazing stay and would happily come back and recommend it.
The location worked really well for us, right by the international cruise and cross-island ferry terminals and under a 10-minute walk from shops, restaurants, city hall, and more. Staff were helpful with everything we asked for, and after checkout we could relax comfortably in an area on the second floor while waiting for our evening flight. Our room was spacious and clean, with a great ocean view from the balcony. The espresso machine was a nice extra, though the bed felt a bit too hard. The bathroom sink was badly designed and kept overflowing. The lobby was tiny, just two small couches, especially surprising in such a large hotel. Papeete's run-down, abandoned buildings weren't to our taste, though that's separate from the hotel.
It was easy to explore Papeete on foot from here, with the market nearby and the ferry terminal right across the road. Parking is available if you rent a car, which I'd recommend. The rooms are modern and set up for self-catering. There's a cafe/restaurant attached for breakfast or lunch, though town is also within walking distance. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
We picked Boutique Hotel Kon Tiki Tahiti for the rooftop sunset and were glad we did. We got the sunset we wanted before heading home, and I've reviewed the Reeftop Bar separately. Friends staying nearer the airport agreed we had the better night and slept best, lol. We'd stay here again on a Tahiti layover. We were there for one night between Bora Bora and our early flight home. The taxi took about 15 minutes from the airport in the afternoon and around 10 minutes back early the next morning without traffic. The driver knew the hotel right away. Check-in was quick and clear, and checkout was just as easy. I called about 15 minutes before leaving and our taxi was waiting when we got downstairs. The room was roomy, modern, and comfortable, with a cute balcony facing the ferry terminal. Putting in the key opens the blinds and starts the AC; taking it out switches everything off. They seem to provide just one key so the AC isn't left on while you're away, but the room cooled quickly. We both slept well on the fairly comfortable bed. The pillows were too dense and kind of "meatball-y" for us, but we could live with that. I enjoyed the modern bathtub, though it leaked all over the floor during my bath. The front desk didn't seem surprised when we called, and sent up two extra towels to mop it up, so it may be a known quirk. The built-in coffee machine was fun to use, with the beans and water already in it. A button gives you a small shot, and you can press it more times for a larger amount.
