The owner and staff were magnificent, and the rooms were perfectly adequate. The bed was super comfy and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Our room opened onto the pool, and across the road there’s a great snorkeling spot. They offer snorkeling gear, and there’s a 24/7 gas station next door with snacks, groceries, and fresh bread. It’s not your typical gas stop. We didn’t have breakfast there since we usually just drink coffee, but they do offer it for an extra charge. This probably isn’t the place for someone looking for a resort.

I wouldn’t spend an entire vacation here, but it worked really well for our one night after our flight landed too late to catch the ferries to Moorea. The staff were friendly and explained everything, and they were ready for my late arrival. It’s close to a lovely beach, and you can borrow snorkel gear and fins at reception. The 24-hour shop at the gas station next door has plenty of food if you’d rather skip breakfast there. A nice place for a night or two.

I called to ask about my reservation, and the man who answered was extremely rude and had no patience at all. He hung up on me twice. Someone like that shouldn’t be working in hotel customer service.

I had a pleasant short stay. The owners were helpful, the place was clean, and the price was good. It was very quiet, apart from a few roosters, and it’s close to the road. The pool is open 24 hours. One small thing: I felt like an outsider at the shared breakfast, though that was my fault for not speaking French. After enjoying the beautiful beach, I remembered the owner had suggested a guided snorkeling trip, and I wished I’d had time to go. You should have a pleasant stay, and I’d recommend having a car. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend it. The place has all the facilities you need, including a pool, and car hire is available. The beach is only 600 meters away, the supermarket is even closer, and the shopping center is about 1200 meters away. There’s a restaurant nearby too.
