Meals were a highlight, from fresh bread, croissants, and local jams at breakfast to a thoughtfully prepared dinner each night. Everyone working here was kind and accommodating, and the bungalows were clean, well cared for, and very comfortable. We happened to have the island to ourselves for the two nights we booked, which made the stay feel even more special. It’s a tiny, secluded island with a shallow, coral-filled lagoon rather than a sandy beach. The water was the clearest I’ve ever seen, and we loved swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and exploring. There’s no A/C, and geckos regularly showed up on the walls and ceilings. That’s something to know in advance, though there were hardly any mosquitoes or other bugs, so there’s a tradeoff. We were very happy with our time here and would gladly recommend it.

Come here for a quiet break from crowds and everyday bustle, not for a full-scale resort. Eden is on a small motu out in the Pacific, and that peaceful setting was a big part of why we loved our week. The staff, including Max, Doriane, the chef, and everyone else we met, were warm and went well beyond what we expected. Our bungalow was spotless and carefully maintained, with welcome flowers, comfortable beds, and daily housekeeping. My husband and I could properly rest. Breakfast came with plenty of fruit and pastries, and dinner featured delicious fresh seafood. Between the lagoon setting, the immaculate grounds, and the hospitality, it was the best place I’ve ever stayed. I’d absolutely return.

We saw an octopus, moray eel, stingrays, sharks, and beautiful coral reefs during our eight-day honeymoon stay. The views were gorgeous and the customer service was excellent. We had an incredible time and highly recommend it.

We spent five peaceful, quiet days here, and for most of the stay there were only four guests on the island. Our days were simple: reading, lounging, kayaking, snorkeling, playing games, and turning in early after early mornings. It was an amazing honeymoon for us. A few practical things: there’s no air conditioning, but the breeze through the rooms was good. Meals are available and charged at the end; we had dinner there but handled our own breakfast and lunch. Each room has a coffee and hot water machine plus a mini fridge, handy for anything that just needs hot water. You can go into town or book excursions for an extra cost, and sometimes join staff if they’re heading in anyway. The staff were very kind. Max, the manager, was great and speaks French and English well. Most of the others speak French or Tahitian, so Google Translate may help. Read up on the island’s limitations before coming, and feel free to email them with questions.
