Muriel made a real effort to make us feel at home during our few days here on our honeymoon. My French is pretty limited, but her English was great. She’s also a superb chef and baker, and the fresh breakfasts and dinners, made daily with local ingredients, were some of the best we’ve ever eaten. There’s a private dock for snorkeling and sunset watching, and the reef was amazing. The place was romantic, peaceful, and fun. When I left my water bottle in our rental car, Muriel drove me to get it. She also helped arrange a car at the last minute after bad weather canceled our scooter rental. We didn’t talk with Frank much because of the language barrier, but he was friendly and knowledgeable. His guitar playing was amazing. We loved Au Phil Du Temps and only wish we’d stayed longer. We hope to come back.

It’s disappointing, because this could be a really nice place, but it’s dated and things are falling apart, seemingly because of cheap fittings. The woman who runs it was very rude to us. She had no manners when speaking with guests and kept imposing rules she seemed to make up herself.

Such a lovely place to stay in Tahaa, run by the nicest couple. The food was amazing, and the day trips were really interesting. I had a wonderful visit and left with warm memories.

Muriel's cooking was generous and excellent, with fresh local ingredients, and Muriel and Franck gave us such a warm welcome. The lush, well-kept grounds had no mosquitoes, and the jetty with lagoon access was a real plus. It was wonderfully peaceful there and everything seemed set up for a relaxing holiday. The one drawback was the guesthouse's location by the road. There was some traffic between 4 and 6 am. Still, we had a lovely three days. Thank you for the welcome.

We had a hard time leaving after such lovely days with Muriel and Franck. They welcomed us warmly, and meals turned into some really enriching conversations. Muriel is a wonderful cook, and we had some of the best food of our trip. Franck took us on a land excursion that taught us a lot about Polynesian culture. The bicycles they provided also let us explore the surrounding area on our own. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
