Tahaa is a beautiful island, and Fred and Corinne are glad to share tips on sightseeing and excursions. Their guesthouse is peaceful, with immaculate lodges, and they make you feel warmly welcome from the start. Fred's infused rums and Corinne's gourmet meals were a real treat 🤩. We highly recommend staying here. Julien and Marc

That little paradise still makes us smile, even though we stayed at Pension Titaina in July 2022, nearly four years ago. My dad, an American friend, and I found it such a peaceful place to unwind, surrounded by lush greenery. The bungalows were lovely, tastefully decorated and well equipped, breakfast was generous, and Corinne's meals were delicious. We loved Fred's aperitifs too. Fred and Corinne are so warm and welcoming that you feel at ease with them right away, almost like visiting friends. Fred took us on a private 4x4 tour around the island, at our own pace. He even agreed to make a detour at the end of the day so I could buy a wood sculpture I'd hesitated over that morning. The lagoon outing was magical too, with lunch on a motu (islet) alongside Fred and Ronald. We adored Ronald for his gentle, kind nature. What more could you ask for? We had everything we needed, and it was pure bliss.

The weather was rainy during our stay, but we still had a wonderful time at Corinne and Frédéric's. It's a small, intimate guesthouse, and our bungalow was comfortable, beautifully furnished and decorated with flowers. We enjoyed the complimentary aperitif together, and our hosts were helpful, generous with their time and full of local knowledge. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and varied. We highly recommend the place.

We had a lovely four-day stay at the Titaina guesthouse in mid-September. The three bungalows are well kept and tucked into a beautiful exotic garden. On our first morning, Frédéric showed us how vanilla grows there. We stayed in the Tiare bungalow, which was simple but welcoming, with a small fridge, kettle and mosquito net. Evenings were sociable: at 6 pm we had homemade infused rum on Corinne and Frédéric's terrace, then dinner with the other guests. We got to share stories and meet people who stayed with us in our memories of the trip. Corinne cooked delicious local food every night, with a set menu of starter, main and dessert. They could adjust it for food intolerances, which was very kind. My favourites were the seared tuna with vanilla purée and the mango-coconut panna cotta ❤️ A tip we learned the hard way: mayflies come out at dusk, so turning the lights on before 6 pm means an invasion. We got caught out on the first night 😅. Breakfast came to our terrace at the time we chose, as long as we told them the night before. It included hot drinks in a thermos, fresh bread and coconut bread, homemade yoghurt, butter, local jams, juice and fresh fruit. Such a treat! Our hosts also gave us helpful ideas for things to see, and you can rent a car right at the guesthouse or borrow bicycles. We highly recommend it.

Corinne and Frédéric were wonderful to meet. Their welcome was exceptional, they gave us great advice and were attentive to what we wanted to do. Corinne's cooking was delicious and beautifully presented. What a magnificent spot in Tahaa. Go, it's well worth it! Anne-Lise and Jean Bernard The two Swiss
