They treated us like we were at home 💗 Cedrid and all the staff made our stay perfect, and we're really thankful to them. We'd definitely come back because of them! The room was comfortable and perfect for us, though we did miss having AC. The bungalows are 1 h and 30 min from the airport, so renting a car is best if you want to get around.

We spent 4 weeks here and had a great time. The bungalows are roomy and comfortable, with a small but usable kitchen, and the covered deck by the pool is a great place to relax. Cedric and Laina, the owners, were kind and helpful. They even helped us when we had a problem with our rental car. Most of the other guests seemed to be locals. We spent the first 2 weeks relaxing around the lodge, then rented a car for the second 2 weeks to explore the island. If you're visiting from elsewhere, we'd really recommend getting a car to stay here.

Dogs are welcome, which is a big plus! The place is beautiful, with a great view and a warm Polynesian welcome. Just one small drawback: the cleanliness could be better.

For a place to recharge, this little guesthouse in the hills above Taravao is a great fit. It's tucked away, peaceful, and completely silent, perfect for getting a proper rest. The hosts were attentive and welcoming, which made my stay even nicer. I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it, whether you're passing through or looking for a quiet break.
