Sumisid Lodge

You’re right in front of the beach, which is perfect for sunsets and an early morning swim. Staff were nice and accommodating, and the room was comfortable, with a queen bed, a single bed, a fridge, and free coffee and tea. The bathroom was nice, too, with shower gel and shampoo, though the water pressure wasn't very good. We booked an air-conditioned room for three people at 3900++. The main drawback was how loud it got in the evening, with street noise carrying into the room. I also felt the price was too high, since you can get a better deal elsewhere, though not right on the beach. Still, it was a good stay.

The staff were attentive and accommodating, and took time to chat, which made the stay feel personal and enjoyable. The resort is right on the beach along Panagsama Road, making it handy for sardine runs and swimming with turtles. You may hear some road noise, but it was peaceful inside. We chose a triple room that could fit up to four adults, with an extra bed available for an additional charge.

We changed our plans because of a visa issue, and the staff were considerate and flexible about accommodating the change. Breakfast was delicious, and the lodge was clean, though smaller than Oasis. We chose Sumisid Lodge after a perfect stay at Seaquest Bohol. Seaquest Moalboal is now Ocean Passion, though the crew seems to be the same.

Nice location and good breakfast. The washing area is shared. Rooms facing the sea get like a sauna after noon because they only have a fan and no air conditioning. That shouldn't be a problem if you're out all day and just come back to sleep.
