The rooftop terrace setup is a nice idea, and the place itself looked good, but the service was really poor. We waited 50 minutes for our order, and both the waiters and cook were very slow. The food was pretty bad too. I’m Filipina and usually eat anything, but the Hawaiian pizza was a disappointment, with huge chunks of garlic, lots of onion, and bad tomato sauce. It cost 380 pesos, which isn’t a lot, but it felt like a waste of money and time.

I only planned to stay a night, but ended up there for two weeks. The rooms are clean, with hot showers, AC, a comfy bed, and a balcony, and it’s just 1k pesos. The place is super clean, too, with a breezy rooftop bar looking over the centre of Anda and everything close by. The beach is a two-minute walk away. Janine and Sarah are lovely, and their freshly made food is delicious. They make a mean Red Thai curry and Pina Colada. My favourite place to stay in Anda by far.

The only downside for me was the walk to the beach. The hotel is right in the centre of Anda town, and there’s a restaurant on the third floor. I stayed one night and had a really good room, with the modern basics I needed: air conditioning, a hot and cold shower, a comfortable bed, and blackout curtains.

We liked the rooftop breakfast enough to come back three days in a row. It was very clean and airy, with a view of distant jungle, lovely staff, and great food. Most places serve sugary bread, which we don’t enjoy, but the toast here was lovely.

I only stayed two nights, but really loved it. The room was spotless and everything worked, plus the staff were super friendly. It’s very central in Anda, and the food options are reasonable too. They also have live acoustic music in the evenings.
