Maharajah Hotel Angeles City

There are a large Korean supermarket just 3 minutes away, Japanese and Chinese restaurants nearby, and Koreatown is 7 minutes away. The hotel has two pools, one for adults and one for children, and by local hotel standards they're huge. There's lots of greenery around the grounds, and it's the kind of place where you want to spend time. The atmosphere is wonderful, making it probably the best hotel in Angeles for rest and relaxation. The rooms are old-fashioned, but it is a 3-star hotel. I can recommend it 100%. Come here and you won't regret it.

The pool is amazing, a real full-size swimming pool rather than the puddles of water at some other hotels. Rooms are big, and the staff are great. The only reasons I didn't give five stars are that it's quite far from local attractions and there's no restaurant. Everything else is great. Recommended.

For the price, it's okay, just don't expect too much when you book. I stayed one night and was satisfied. The room was spacious, with hot water, Wi-Fi, and working AC. Breakfast was good and free. The staff were very friendly and helped me get a cab to the bus terminal when I checked out.

I won't book here again. The pool was one reason I chose this hotel, but it was less than 2 feet deep, which disappointed me. When we arrived, there was only a sheet on the bed, so I had to ask for an extra blanket. Security at the gate and entrance door was live, but even though the room door had two locks, the deadbolt couldn't be locked with the single key we were given, which didn't feel secure enough. The TV cable had only 12 channels and no decent English movie channels. For breakfast, we were told to call and have it delivered to the room. When I asked for two people, they immediately said it was only for one. I complained that the Agoda app never said that, and then the receptionist changed their mind and gave us what we wanted.
